Diastasis Recti

Are the muscles in your abdomen still separated after delivering your baby?

Diastasis Recti occurs during pregnancy when the abdominal muscles separate as the pregnancy develops and the belly swells in size. In some women, the separation persists after the baby is delivered and a bulge remains down the midline of their abdomen.

HOW IT WORKS

Evolve X

Evolve Transform and Tone can be used to dramatically tighten and tone the musculature of the abdomen. Typically this can be accomplished in 3 to 6 hour-long sessions. After the abdominal muscles have been tightened and strengthened, if the abdominal skin remains loose or wrinkly, Evolve Tite can be used to smooth and tighten the skin to allow you to get back into your bikini or wear a crop top at the gym.

FAQ

How many treatments are necessary?

That depends on the extent of the Diastasis and how much weight was gained during pregnancy. Typically we are finding that between three and eight treatments may be required. The good news is these treatments with definitely speed your recovery and allow you to get back to your normal workout routine much sooner.

Does it hurt?

No. There is no pain involved, though you may experience heat and muscle contractions during the process. If it ever starts to be uncomfortable, we can dial back either the heat or the strength of the muscle contractions, or both.

Can the treatments be done between pregnancies?

Yes, absolutely. Since there is no surgery involved and there are no incisions, there is nothing to worry about from this treatment if you get pregnant again.
