Corinne Sugihara, MD is passionate about helping women look and feel their very best, throughout all life’s stages. She is the medical director and founder of Casa Esthetica, in Newport Beach, California.
“After years of working as an OB/GYN, delivering thousands of babies, I started Casa Esthetica to make non-invasive body and vaginal treatments available to women of all ages and backgrounds. We’ve developed our own unique protocols, personalized to address your specific goals and desires.”
A California native, Dr. Sugihara completed her undergraduate studies in Neurobiology at UC Berkeley. She then went on to Medical School at George Washington University on a US Navy scholarship. During her internship at Penn State University’s Hershey Medical Center and her residency at SUNY Stonybrook’s Long Island Jewish Medical Center, in New York, she specialized in OB/GYN.
After completing her training, Dr. Sugihara was called to active duty in the US Navy and was stationed at the Patuxent River Naval Air Station in Southern Maryland. During her four years of active duty, she was made the director of Surgical Services at the base hospital and achieved the rank of Lieutenant Commander.
Once she had fulfilled her military service obligation, Dr. Sugihara went into private practice in San Mateo, California, where her daughter Nicole was born. In 1992, she moved to Southern California, where she joined Women’s Healthcare Physicians, with offices in the city of Orange and Newport Beach. Then in 2008, Dr. Sugihara launched her own private practice in her current office at 1441 Avocado Avenue in Newport Beach.
In 2018, after observing major advances in technology that enable physicians to non-surgically address womens’ quality of life issues, she began a new dimension of her practice that has become the foundation of Casa Esthetica. Dr. Sugihara welcomes women of all ages and walks of life to call for a free consultation regarding their healthcare concerns.
